The Very Best Blueberry Coffeecake | Fantastical Sharing of Recipes

"It was absolutely perfect. The lemon was really nice and came through really well. The berries, of course, were fantastic. The produce down here is just seriously amazing! I love being in the South. Can't wait to make this one again. It was definitely the best!"

Tomato Bacon Jam: Making Miracles

Today's featured recipe comes from Group D. Rebekah of Making Miracles made Tomato Bacon Jam from her assigned blog, Feed Me Seymour. I think I speak for all bacon lovers when I say, "WOW! I need this in my life ASAP." Not only does it look fabulous on the Triple Bypass Bacon Burger below, but on Ritz crackers and grilled cheese that Rebekah also shared pictures of.

Rebekah had this to say about her recipe:

Tomato Bacon Jam [as seen on Triple Bypass Bacon Burger] | Making Miracles

"I ended up falling head over heels for the Tomato Bacon Jam, and we took this amazing recipe just a step further and turned it into an integral part of the Triple Bypass Bacon Burgers"

Singaporean Curried Vegetable Noodles: Hapa-tite

Today's featured recipe comes from Group D. Nicole of Hapa-tite made Singaporean Curried Vegetable Noodles from her assigned blog, Tara's Multicultural Table. Nicole is always posting the best foods! I am constantly drooling and wanting a bowl/plate of whatever it is she has posted - even if it's something I've never tried before. I think it's such a talent to make someone want to step outside their comfort zone - just with a picture!

Nicole had this to say about her recipe:

Singaporean Curried Vegetable Noodles | Hapa-tite

"One of our favorite dishes to get when we order takeout or visit the local dim sum restaurant is Singaporean Curry Noodles. It has the perfect level of spiciness (flavor, not heat) and the little nuggets of meat and vegetables break up the monotony of the noodles. I was a bit lazy and used some stir fry vegetables and packaged sauce from Trader Joe’s, but I counter-acted that laziness by topping the noodles with some home-grown Thai Basil."

Maple Oat Pecan Scones: Feed Me Seymour

Today's featured recipe comes from Group D. Kim of Feed Me Seymour made Maple Oat Pecan Scones from her assigned blog, Baking and Creating with Avril. Kim is one of two newbies to Group D for the month of August and I have to say...I am so excited to see what Kim and Julie come up with in the future because their first reveal day just blew me away!

Kim had this to say about her recipe:

Maple Oat Pecan Scones | Feed Me Seymour

"I love how the maple syrup gives them just the right touch of sweetness. Not too much, just right. Avril topped hers with a maple glaze that is absolutely to-die-for but I opted to skip it. I wanted to pack these for breakfast and glaze – while amazingly sweet and delicious – tends to be a little sticky. They are perfect without it but if you are choosing to make them for company, whip up some glaze and have it on the side for guests."

Please Excuse the Mess!

We have had some issues recently with the Secret Recipe Club website that was hosted over on Wordpress. It wasn't a Wordpress issue, but it has forced my hand to create a free site, so that I can get back to sharing the Secret Recipe Club members' great content.

I apologize for the mess this will create and I am working to get the blog up and running in a manner as close to the old one as possible.

Thanks for understanding,
Sarah
